QA Tester

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and follow the testing process executing the testcases based on the documentation provided and configuring automated test scripts for the integrated environment.
• Be aware that testcase creation represents a very small part of the job (~1%) (either automated or manual). Please note that we are doing only maintenance on the received automated scripts and the time spent on troubleshooting the integrated tests is around 70%.
• Create ATP (acceptance test plan) document covering the scope duration means of execution of a testing campaign;
• Organize and participate in Kick-off/Closure meetings for SAT campaigns and send start/end notifications for Qualification;
• Execute testing based on the documented procedures and available documentation both functional and non-functional;
• Report daily status to involved stakeholders;
• Create Test Report document;
• Participate in the review process of the testing assets and documentation coming from development team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Expertise in following a test plan and applying testing methodology guidelines;
• Understanding of technical documentation application functionalities and end2end flow ;
• Team player good communicator analytical thinking problem solving orientation;
• Experience in Unix;
• Basic knowledge on oracle DB structure and query mechanism
• Tools used: SOAP/LOAD UI for executing automated functional and performance testing on web-services; Selenium automated UI testing and Jmeter automated performance testing.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• ITIL background or certification is a plus;
• Bash scripting/ Basic Weblogic knowledge is a plus;
• Experience with web service mechanism is a plus.
