QA Tester

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for an eCommerce application.
• Conduct functional testing to identify and report software defects ensuring the reliability of our products.
• Collaborate closely with software developers product managers and stakeholders to gain deep understanding of product requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Document software defects issues and risks in a clear and concise manner facilitating effective communication and problem resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis of identified issues and work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions.
• Continuously improve testing processes methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Proficiency in manual test execution for web or native apps.
• Experience working with debugging tools and cross-browser testing platforms (knowledge of Browserstack Charles Proxy is a plus).
• Experience using test management tools like Jira (knowledge of Xray is a plus).
• Good grasp of web technologies and mobile platforms (API testing is a plus).
• Ability to write clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills enabling effective teamwork.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
