Quality Engineer (Fixed Term Hire)

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Test Specialist develops and executes high volume testing efforts within the Workday environment; specifically supporting Human Capital Management and Reporting. Working within their squad they perform a hands-on role in timely test activity execution and documentation.
· Responsible for working with testing leads architects and other stakeholders to execute functional and performance testing.
· Develop optimized test scenarios document detailed test scripting identify opportunities for test optimization and document test requirements.
· Responsible for continuously reporting testing status perform defect ticket tracking and analyze test outcomes for improvement.
· Involved in providing support within their squad throughout development and QA practices providing clarifications and advice on development defects risks.
· This individual has excellent organizational and communication skills is detail-oriented and can multi-task and manage time well.
· Performs other duties as needed to support the complete life cycle of the HRIS Project.
· Manages other special projects as assigned.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 1-2 years experience as tester
• Minimum of 2 years in HRIS systems and HR Operations
• Experience in core system testing including end to end across applications

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in at least one complete life cycle in Workday implementation
• Overall knowledge of Workday Human Capital Management and Reporting
