We are seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to join our team.
The Quality Engineering Lead, Patient Privacy Monitoring (PPM) is a member of the Cyber Engineering products group and is responsible for leading a team of Quality Engineers to ensure the Imprivata FairWarning/PPM product offering is of the highest quality. This role works closely with Software Development Engineers, Data Scientists, and DevOps Engineers to ensure the FairWarning/PPM product meets the quality and security levels we expect. This role also works with our Product Managers to ensure that our FairWarning/PPM product offering meets the need of our customers.
The incumbent of this role should have a background in web applications, preferably healthcare related, that utilize Agile/Scrum and best practice testing methodologies. Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, JIRA, SharePoint, GitHub, PractiTest, Django. A basic understanding of data science and data analysis are preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for Imprivata's distributed Quality Engineering Team for the FW/PPM offering
- Lead efforts in determining test plans and scope of testing
- Ensure adherence to web application development, quality, and security standards including functional, integration, performance, and scale testing
- Manage the testing processes (e.g. defect management, traceability). Drive changes and/or improvements to the process as needed
- Work closely with our Delivery Managers to ensure that program schedules are complete and committed to by the team
- Work closely with our Scrum Masters to ensure that all testing activities occur in a timely fashion and to the level of quality demanded by the business requirements
- Oversight for test automation priorities, test plans, test data, test environments and test execution
- Provide input to staffing plans at the project-level to identify key and required skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in leading software quality assurance teams delivering web applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical skills: confident Unix terminal user and intermediate MySQL skills
- Working knowledge of Scrum, including geographically distributed teams work together on the same program deliverables.
- Indoor office environment
- This role is regularly required to walk, climb stairs, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
