Description
Wolverine Asset Management is seeking highly motivated and intellectually curious individuals to join our team as Quantitative Analysts. In this role you will collaborate closely with our relative value arbitrage strategy portfolio management teams. Analysts at Wolverine play a critical role in developing enhancing and supporting the systems models and research that drive our investment decisions. What You'll Do
  • Partner with portfolio managers to analyze develop and improve trading strategies and models.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support investment decisions across multiple asset classes.
  • Verify normalize and maintain large and complex data sets.
  • Build maintain and enhance tools processes and systems critical to daily desk operations.
  • Assist in the development of new strategies through data mining statistical analysis and problem solving.
  • Continuously explore ways to optimize performance streamline processes and identify new opportunities.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mathematics Statistics Physics Computer Science Engineering Finance Economics or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong foundation in probability statistics and quantitative problem solving.
  • Programming experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a data-driven research environment.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance securities trading or financial markets preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Competitive mindset

The base compensation range for this role is approximately $70000-$110000 contingent on experience. Wolverine Asset Management's total compensation model includes base salary and an annual discretionary bonus.
