Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a student to join the quantum computing group at IBM Research – Israel part of the IBM Quantum organization. As a software developer in IBM Quantum your job will be to write code for the suite of software tools and cloud services that are part of our full-stack approach to delivering IBM’s computing systems to developers and research scientists. Areas of software include software architecture cloud microservices cloud APIs and database solutions (among other areas). The focus of the role is on developing front-end and backend tools which are part of an infrastructure used by IBM Quantum’s experimentalists and researchers in their work on developing IBM’s quantum devices. As part of the role you will be working in and agile and collaborative environment together with other members of the broader IBM Quantum team.

* This position is located in Haifa Tel-Aviv or Remote.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Background in quantum computing or quantum information
* Experience with Qiskit
* Experience with Postgres and database security principles
* Experience with Node.js Vue.js and frontend web development
* Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift
