Definition:

The 3form Estimating department supports sales of our materials and products specified by architects and interior designers (A+D) in the US and Canada. Once a product specification has been identified a request for quote (RFQ) is generated. The Quoting Specialist is responsible for the accurate interpretation of the RFQ and the generation of pricing quotations for designers and contractors.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Core A+D Quoting:

• Completes and distributes material and solution quotations as identified via the RFQ system in the my3form CRM tool.
• Ensures quotations contain complete bill of materials + cut lists to fulfill project requirements
• Reviews incoming RFQs for completeness and contacts Material Consultants and / or customers directly for missing information
• Completes and distributes Certified Installer Partner quotes.
• Is the main internal point of contact for questions regarding the quote for the Materials Consultants, Specifiers and Contractors during the bidding stage.
• Makes clear notes regarding exceptions, assumptions and project submitter requirements.

Project Management and Execution:

• Supports Project Coordinators and Project Managers in the execution of orders
• Works with Technical Support to ensure solution requirements are communicated to the installation partners or contractor customer.

Qualifications:

• Can read and write fluently in English.
• Is willing to work collaboratively with estimating team members
• Is comfortable with ambiguity and willing to ask questions to gain clarification
• Is not afraid to ask questions or get help when unsure of quote requirements
• Possesses intermediate skill with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint , Outlook, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, design and fabrication drawings is a plus
• Desirable but not required: AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp or similar CAD experience

Work Experience:

• 2+ years experience in customer service, sales support, estimating or other relevant work.
• Experience working in a customer facing environment preferred

Training:

Training will be provided to the successful candidate so they are able to utilize ICE software system and able to fully utilize my 3Form project interface as well as on-line catalogs, technical specifications and drawings.
