Grand Canyon University is looking for a Recording Studio Coordinator in the College of Theology. The Recording Studio is responsible for handling day-to-day operations in the GCU Recording Studio under the direction and supervision of the Recording Studio Manager. Location: GCU's Main Campus, 33rd Ave. and Camelback Phoenix, Arizona
What you will do:
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the activities of an assigned studio, project, department or function, and ensuring the operational infrastructure is in place.
- Review departmental needs and expectations and determine most effective means of execution of specific duties to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion.
- Manage the flow of activities and act as liaison to all others involved in the department
- Create and maintain all studio communication.
- Communicate with studio customers, clients, contacts, vendors-both internal and external to the organization.
- Assist with budget preparation for the studio and equipment. May reconcile expenses and submit requests for payment, receiving authorization from department head.
- Work with GCU students to foster an educational experience as it pertains to recording production and songwriting activities.
- Assist with GCU Recording Lab operations on occasional basis.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in worship arts, music, or sound engineering.
- Demonstrated worship leadership experience.
- Demonstrated involvement in successful production of albums in the music industry preferred.
