In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience demonstrating a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular and recurring basis. Ability to safeguard and handle cash.

Conditions of Employment: Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment physical. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of background investigation (Tier 1 level) is required. Must be able to work an uncommon tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
