Programmable DNA, the software of Life, is finally here! Twist Bioscience is developing a disruptive Synthetic DNA technology that will change the world, enabling widespread health and sustainability. Synthetic biologists will use our products to engineer how organisms produce cures to diseases, make everyday chemicals by using the atmosphere as the carbon source, enable plants to make their own fertilizers, and to create in-vivo diagnostics that alert us when we are sick, and many more applications.

The Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting of all technical and non-technical positions for Twist including high volume recruiting for manufacturing roles. This includes managing candidate experience from first contact through on-boarding.  The ideal candidate will be good-natured, flexible, passionate, highly organized, calm under pressure, collaborative, and thrive in a fluid, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Full cycle recruiting including internal & external job postings, resume review and sourcing, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letter and negotiating offers with candidates
• Actively seek out passive candidates using social networking sites, career fairs, local networking groups, etc
• Utilize Web sites, job boards, social networking sites and other Web-based media to recruit potential candidates;
• Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees;
• Work with HR and Managers to develop and execute recruiting plans;
• Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives;
• Build strong relationships with hiring teams to effectively manage the recruiting process;
• Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, placement firms and job posting site account managers;
• Maintain EEOC log of all interviews conducted;
• Maintain data and distribute reports for open positions, candidate pipeline, pending candidates, offers extended, closed candidate log, and employee referral database;
• Perform employment and background checks;
• Prepare various HR Reports e.g. Recruitment, Retention, candidate pipeline, etc.;
• Administration of Employee Referral Program.
• Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team 

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working in a Recruiting Agency; combination of Corporate and Agency experience preferred
• Experience hiring within the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries a plus
• Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
• Previous experience with high volume recruiting
• Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High Level of Attention to Detail
• Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups
• Ability to maintain high level of organization for self and others
• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks
