Recruiting Specialist (REMOTE)

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Recruiting Specialist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Work with the Lead Recruiters and Director of Recruiting to help develop creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates to meet customer demands
  • Creatively identify qualified candidates through a variety of recruiting sources including, but not limited to the internal Applicant Tracking System, internet sources, professional associations, and internal and external job fairs
  • Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for direct hire and contingent opportunities
  • Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer and client relationships and network.
  • Prequalify and submit a diverse slate of candidates to hiring managers for further consideration/selection for interview process
  • Manage candidate activity through Workday, Phenom (CRM) and MS Teams.
  • Maintain metrics related to the recruitment function
  • Assist in coordinating events both CONUS and OCONUS
  • Maintain vendor relationships and partner with TAP/Military Offices, Hiring our Heroes, SkillBridge, etc.
  • Assist in us growing our I&D recruiting strategies; assist and partner with other parts of the business on early career and intern hiring
  • Leverage strong communication/collaboration skills to build strong cross-functional partnerships to support the business demands effectively.
  • Proactively seek new methods of marketing and advertising for critical positions across local job boards (unemployment offices, veteran focused areas, etc) and various social media sites
  • The position may require overtime including weekend hours and periodic travel both CONUS & OCONUS
  • Willingness to travel to KBR locations on an as needed basis

Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a structured Talent Acquisition or Human Resources department
  • History of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance expectations
  • Experience in a recruiting environment with an emphasis on exceptional client service.
  • High-volume staffing experience required
  • Experience working in an office setting.
  • Experience scheduling meetings through Outlook.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (Workday preferred).

Preferred:
  • Previous experience with OCONUS and/or hiring for Skilled Labor positions
  • Previous experience managing OFCCP, AAP, EEO and other related compliance requirements

Security Requirements: Must be able to obtain a government security clearance
