Position Summary
Orr Group is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven recruiting professional to join our team with responsibility for outsourced recruiting and executive search services for Orr Group’s clients.
The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to identify and attract diverse pools qualified and capable talent for a wide array of nonprofits across the country.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Collaborates with hiring managers and client teams to determine hiring criteria and draft detailed, accurate and inclusive job descriptionsÂ
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
- Screens applications and determines qualified candidates
- Researches, identifies, recruits and evaluates passive candidates utilizing best practices for sourcing and search
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Executive search and/or recruiting agency experience highly preferred
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of nonprofit roles; understanding of nonprofit organization structures a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Analytical capability to evaluate information and data to inform strategy
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Proactive with the ability and willingness to take initiative
- Highly proficient in MS Office products
- Strong focus on customer service quality and teamwork
- Strong time/project management and organization skills and the ability to remain flexible and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work long and varying hours (when needed) to meet fixed deadlines
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems
Additional Information
Base salary of $70,000 annually + bonus potential
