Regional Finance Manager Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded regional finance manager to join our finance team. The regional finance manager's responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and driving financial improvement through margin initiatives. As a regional finance manager, you will also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes.

To be successful as a regional finance manager, you should be able to become an effective business partner to the operations team, become an expert in financial systems and perform a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. You should also have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.

Regional Finance Manager:

  • Become an effective business and finance partner to operations team with a high-level customer service attitude.
  • Drive focus and financial improvement initiatives to improve the overall bottom line.
  • Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes and ensure accurate financial statements for shops within region.
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports and understanding variances.
  • Effectively communicate financial results.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assist with Commission and Bonus calculations.
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
  • Develop in depth knowledge of financial systems
  • Performing research and analysis as required.

Regional Finance Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel to build relationships with shop managers and drive financial understanding and margin improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Netsuite, CCC One, Qlik, PowerBI or other related financial systems.
