As an Regional Account Executive, you will develop long-term consultative relationships with existing customers to increase the potential for expanded business and customer retention. You'll meet goals for revenue, sales volume, strategic services, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate Federal Reserve System operational and technical support in response to customer needs. Provide customer perspective for new products or customized business solutions. The level of work required is considered intermediate and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. You will report to the Sales Manager and will have no direct reports.
Your Responsibilities
• Analyze payments operations and processes of potential customers for cost savings, quality improvements or productivity gains from the use of Fed services
• Consult with current or potential customers regarding industry practices for payments operations to support the development of new Fed products & services
• Prepare and presents cost/benefit proposals to customers Independently conducts analysis of customer buying behaviors within a target segment to develop an engagement strategy for potential new business and business retention
• Conduct payback analysis based on competitive market information obtained from customer interactions to support FRS product improvements
• Consult with customers on merger, acquisition, and de novo activities
• Achieve annual revenue and strategic objectives for assigned portfolio Provides input into marketing and sales plans including strategies to address the competition
• May conduct presentations related to Federal Reserve Bank products and services both internally and at industry conferences
• Develop solutions to moderately complex business scenarios and presents ideas to customers
• Monitor and reports on budget & target performance on an ongoing basis
Your Background
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2 or more years of relevant banking and sales experience
• Knowledge of the Federal Reserve System and the products, services, practices, and procedures of the FRB Financial Services
• Independent thinking and decision-making ability
• Possesses and applies knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the field of specialization to the completion of assignments
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of depository institutions' operations
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a professional team environment
• Demonstrates aptitude to leverage relevant technology and software applications
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to travel up to 75%
• Valid driver's license
