REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT SALES (NORTHEAST)

The Basics:

The successful Regional Vice President Sales drives a regional sales team consisting of Directors Strategic Accounts to success by delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs and is able to meet and beat their assigned revenue targets.  The ideal candidate is located in the NY/NJ/CT Tri-state area.

What you’ll do:

· Personally oversee and serve as the primary sales leader for regional named enterprise and channel accounts.  Manage a team of up to 10 DSA's.

· Work with Tanium Partner and Channel resources to develop and prepare an actionable strategic sales plan for each named regional account.

· Maintain awareness and status of all key regional contractual obligations facilitating customer meetings and communications regarding deliverables.

· Accurate and timely forecasting hands-on mentoring and leading from the front.

· Recruit develop and retain high performing sales talent.

We’re looking for someone with:

· Education:  BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred

· REQUIRED Experience

· Software sales expertise and strong relationships with large enterprise companies across all verticals.

· Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.

· 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience selling complex SaaS solutions to named accounts.

· 5+ years of proven sales leadership experience with a reputable high growth software company.

· Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and/or network operations space.

· Proven history of exceptional quota attainment by driving successful collaboration across all internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.

· Knowledge and passion for reporting metrics and closing deals to consistently hit revenue targets.

· Extensive value selling experience to C suite audiences and solid relationships with decision makers from a wide customer base.

· Superb organizational skills coupled with a ‘Whatever IT Takes' attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance.

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $100000 to $300000 and this position will also be commission eligible. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location education skills training and experience.
