Given our exceptional growth we are expanding and hiring a Regional Vice President, Central Region, to join us on this exciting journey.  The Regional Vice President, reporting to the CRO, will build and lead a team of quota carrying sales professionals as they find and close new logo business, expand the footprint of existing accounts and drive renewals. They will own the central region with full responsibility for costs, methods and staffing. As a member of the sales leadership team, they are expected to work cross functionally and collaborate with all departments to build a fully integrated sales ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop, and mentor representatives to succeed in all aspects of the sales cycle: qualification, landing new customers, adoption, expansion and renewal, forecasting, and closing opportunities 
  • Attain monthly quota goals with high degree of forecast accuracy and predictability 
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met and the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved 
  • Contribute to sales and market strategy, including sales playbook development
  • Lead and report weekly forecast and business outcomes with sales reps and leaders 
  • Communicate corporate strategy to employees within your region 
  • Identify needed resources for sales strategy and quickly communicate those needs to leadership  
  • Establish and adhere to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Keep senior leadership informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results 
  • Invest in the coaching and enablement of sales team 

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings in the central region
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining successful sales talent and motivating them to achieve sales goals
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales methodology that you can translate and coach others in, target account selling, solution selling, consultative sales techniques and MEDDIC expertise preferred
  • Experience owning and driving revenue outcomes within the central region exceeding personal and team sales quotas
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Experience selling into medium and large enterprise markets as well as channel/partner networks
  • Understanding of most current RevOps sales tools and technology stack with the ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a dynamic, fast moving organization 
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills that span across various cultures and professional backgrounds 
  • Ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels 
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done  
  • Keen attention to detail; relentless pursuit of quality 
  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative, cross functional environment
  • High level of professionalism and integrity; good judgment
  • Ability to work remotely and willingness to travel on short notice, up to 50% of the time
