Purpose:Provides expertise on advanced and complex registries to ensure high integrity quality data and daily registry functions are completed including: concurrent and retrospective documentation chart review for the collection of complex data metric analysis interoperability and validity edits and reporting of data incorporated in quality improvement processes for specialized patient populations. Assists with business report requests software upgrades research projects accreditations and external agency requirements. Responsible for external registry submissions of accurate and timely data as mandated by State and National Databases including CMS Payor and Accreditation entities. Supports the achievement of system and regional objectives by collaborating and or co~authoring with internal and external partners for studies conferences and or publication that help improve compliance with evidenced~based guidelines. Success is accomplished by the above including maintaining knowledge of all standards and clinical practice for the specified registry which results in the provision of timely and high integrity data that is used to improve patient care and organizational performance.Accountabilities:Provides expertise on advanced and complex registries. Serves as a data repository and reporting systems expert. Serves as an expert resource to team(s) in analyzing and interpreting registry data based on clinical expertise and current benchmarks.Position Requirements:Education Required:Bachelor`s Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Health Information Management or related field.Experience Required:Typically requires 5 years of experience in assigned registry.Knowledge of state federal and external agency requirement regulations standards and benchmarks and the ability to research and interpret their content.Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of software data quality and database management.Understanding of research quality and basic statistical methods.Completes mandate
