Job Description

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will assist in the design, implementation, and management of WellSky’s compliance program, providing direction and guidance to organizational leaders and management on compliance and regulatory matters. Areas of focus will be HIPAA, government healthcare program compliance, data governance, and third-party risk management.

A day in the life!

Key Activities:

  • Draft, revise, and maintain WellSky’s inventory of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Assists with the design, development, and delivery of compliance program communications and training for organizational leaders, management, and the broader WellSky community, including responsibility for the layout and content of educational and training materials.
  • Perform incident investigations and develop complete documentation of reported incidents, including root cause analysis, remediation, and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor, research, and update policies and procedures consistent with changing state and federal compliance requirements.
  • Effectively communicate, assist, and advise applicable business units on various state and federal compliance laws and regulations; assist business units with development and implementation of compliance controls and documentation.
  • Provide advisory support to WellSky teammates on compliance related inquiries.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience with HIPAA, government healthcare program compliance, data governance, and/or third-party risk management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and O365 SharePoint and Teams

Do you stand above the rest?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GRC platform experience
  • Masters, J.D. or relevant privacy or compliance certifications
