Summary of Role:
The Relationship Manager is a key team member of NCR's Banking team providing strategic and consultative management for a portfolio of existing clients. As a strategic advisor to clients, Relationship Managers contribute to the retention and growth of their assigned financial institution portfolio. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Relationship Management, they work closely with product specialist, sales, operations, and marketing to pursue growth opportunities, secure key renewals, and improve client satisfaction. This individual is required to have an in depth understanding of NCR's Banking solutions and their client's business, strategies, and goals to ultimately expand NCR product offering, drive growth and secure renewals with each financial institution partnership.
What will you do:
- Responsible for building client relationships to generate new demand, secure revenue and improve client retention for NCR within an assigned portfolio.
- Develop account strategies, portfolio retention plan and maintain a sales pipeline of reasonable opportunities in a transparent manner.
- Create in-depth proposals and execute to close new sales and renewal opportunities within assigned portfolio in partnership with other account team members.
- Conduct regularly cadence of communications with clients to discuss key service topics, review projects in queue, growth opportunities and share industry best practices.
- Act as an escalation point for clients and work with internal departments to ensure company meets client's expectations.
- Strategically focus on improving client satisfaction by reviewing company practices and internally communicating recommended improvements.
- Work in a virtual team setting to coordinate the appropriate resources to meet client's needs. This can include but is not limited to product specialists, banking specialist, marketing, operations and project teams.
- Onboard new clients in partnership with NCR's project teams.
- Maintain and oversee internal client data systems.
- Represent NCR at key customer meetings, trade shows and sponsored events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years experience in financial institution and/or ATM industry with relationship management functions
- 5 years experience in sales with successful demonstration against quota assignment
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently while prioritizing
- High-energy, results-oriented individual with ability to function independently with minimum supervision.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills to create professional presentations and Excel capabilities for data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely in a virtual team setting.
- Must be able to successfully pass all applicable background screening tests.
