Remote - Application Testing Specialist

What You Will Do:
- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts including test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Participate in test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
What You Will Need:
- 1 to 3 years relevant QA experience or training
- Knowledge of working on full lifecycle software development projects.
- Experience doing user acceptance testing for post-release verification.
- Experience working on Agile teams.
- Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from specifications or verbal communications under direction of senior testers.
- Liaison with development, project management, and customer support.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- U.S. Citizenship, US Permanent Residency or EAD is required for the position.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- BS or BA degree
- Knowledge of automated test tools, like Selenium, to record and play back test scripts.
- Experience using Postman for API testing.
- Section 508 Trusted Tester.
- Experience with GitHub or similar tools.
The annual salary range for this position is $66,700.00-$100,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
