Remote Senior Enterprise Management Systems Specialist
Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day activities required to manage data services, such as network design, implementation, and management, to include troubleshooting of complex network issues.
- Perform technical project assignments to include assessing and resolving issues related to system design, system architecture conceptualization, computer software development, data analysis, report preparations and presentations, and implementation planning.
- Gathers customer network & infrastructure data and diagrams, leveraging expertise in recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, recommending performance monitoring KPIs and SLAs, and providing monitoring tool infrastructure recommendations
- Employ expertise in network and Infrastructure fault & performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards, and data trend analysis in a monitoring tool
- Manage enterprise monitoring solutions like CA Spectrum, UIM (preferred) and/or System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Solarwinds, Microfocus Operations Manager, Network Node Manager, and/or Nlyte
- Establish, configure, manage and optimize applications and tools for monitoring management
- Familiar with Scrum methodologies
- Create technical documentation.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of related experience in managing efforts involving any combination of application performance management (APM), systems performance management (SPM), network performance management (NPM) design and implementation, systems analysis and design, system feasibility studies, systems integration, data conversion and implementation support, database planning and design, programming, and/or network services
- Or an Associates degree, and at least 9 years of overall work experience, 5 of which must be related experience in managing efforts involving any combination of application performance management (APM), systems performance management (SPM), network performance management (NPM) design and implementation, systems analysis and design, system feasibility studies, systems integration, data conversion and implementation support, database planning and design, programming, and/or network services
- Or a High school diploma/GED, and at least 13 years of overall work experience, 5 of which must be related experience in managing efforts involving any combination of application performance management (APM), systems performance management (SPM), network performance management (NPM) design and implementation, systems analysis and design, system feasibility studies, systems integration, data conversion and implementation support, database planning and design, programming, and/or network services
- Good understanding of monitoring architecture, topologies, Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) best practices, and Application/Infrastructure monitoring best practices
- Experience in creating network staff training materials, network diagrams (Microsoft Visio), and general documentation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the following tools: Microfocus NetIQ, Broadcom Spectrum, Broadcom eHealth, Broadcom UIM, Broadcom APM, Schneider ITA, Schneider DCE, or Nlyte
