What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is looking for a Remote Senior Scrum Master to lead collaborative, cross-functional agile SW development teams supporting the US Forest Service. You'll advise and lead the team, and will ensure the team is fully functional, productive, and focused on the program objectives. You will coach and facilitate team members in support of continuous improvement objectives. You may be required to oversee multiple teams depending on project complexity and size. Working with the product owner, you will schedule and facilitate agile events and ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, planning, grooming, and retrospectives. Specific Tasks include:

• Working closely with Multiple Product Management, Development, QA and other stakeholders on planning and delivering high-quality software using agile/scrum processes
• Understanding the product and technology well enough to support the project, identify and communicate risks, and drive issue resolution
• Generating and tracking agile metrics as it relates to scrum team predictability and productivity with an eye towards continuous improvement
• Scheduling and facilitating scrum ceremonies including the daily standup, sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives
• Ensuring the team has clear understanding of the quality of software they are developing, and is constantly working to improve that quality.
• Serving as Scaled Agile Framework champion. Coach teams and stakeholders on SAFe principles and the agile mindset, and drive home the value of agile/scrum across the organization
• Maintaining consistent communication at the team and program level, along with critical stakeholders
• Driving a collaborative and supportive team culture through team building and engagement practices
• Acting as backup for other Scrum Masters and Management team as required.

What You Will Need:

• 5+ years SW project management experience
• 2+ years leading agile teams as Scrum Master using either scrum or kanban
• Ability to foster and maintain a positive and creative work environment for teams including dealing with conflict within the team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card) holder

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience working on US Government programs including the US Forest Service
• PMI-ACP Certified
• Scrum Master Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area
• MBA

The annual salary range for this position is $87,500.00-$131,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
