In this role, you have the opportunity to

Provide first-class phone and e-mail support to end-users and administrators of Philip's Xcelera, IntelliSpace Cardio PACS informatics systems.

You are responsible for
  • Providing technical support for Philips' Xcelera and IntelliSpace Cardio PACS systems.
  • Provide problem resolution and clearly document and reproduce all steps taken during problem resolution.
  • Troubleshooting Windows operating system and hardware issues quickly and effectively.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting TCP/IP and general networking problems by logging into customer networks.
  • Following closely and working according to published procedures and work instructions.
  • Documenting all actions taken during problem resolution in appropriate internal tracking systems.
  • Providing timely escalation of customer issues for evaluation and action by higher level support and ensuring a warm "hand-off" of hot issues and customer escalations.
  • Takes independent actions and calculated risks in solving customer issues, while working autonomously with little supervision.
  • Varying travel required as directed by management (10%).

Philips Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) Business Group (BG), which provides affordable and integrated informatics solutions for health systems. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Associates degree or 3+ years of experience providing technical support on informatics products
  • 3+ years of experience providing technical support on Radiology or Cardiology informatics products (Philips' Xcelera or IntelliSpace Cardio PACS knowledge - highly preferred)
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, hardware, TCP/IP and general networking issues quickly and effectively
  • Ability to work structurally and according to published procedures and work instructions
  • Strong documentation skills when recording actions taken during problem resolution
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
