What You Will Do:

• Red Hat Linux System Administration, upgrades, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring maximum availability.
• Demonstrates technical innovation in supporting client's objectives and mission
• Formulate recommendations on important problems & issues
• Maintain, monitor, and support complex, mission-critical software systems in an operational 24x7 Enterprise environment.
• Support System Integration test plans and report results.
• Write system Ansible playbooks and scripts (Bash, Python, Perl) for daily administration, monitoring and application deployment. Then document and share your work with others.
• Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches to resolve software and hardware related problems.
• Perform system backups and recovery.
• Maintain system and application data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
• Work incidents tickets of all severities, including mission critical system support.
• Monitor system health and configurations in order to ensure system health and functionality as well as remediate problems/issues in a timely manner.
• Perform rotational on-call support in a 24x7x365 operational environment.
• Manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
• Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the Company within technical area of expertise.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 8-10 years of experience. In lieu of a degree, additional 4 years of demonstrated experience is required in a related field
• 8+ full-time years of progressive operations experience into an enterprise setting, including demonstrated O&M experience (advanced troubleshooting, patching, hardening, etc.).
• Experience of Ansible playbook and script writing.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to deal with multiple contractors and government organizations.
• U.S Citizen or Permanent resident is required for this position
• Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Investigation.

What Would Be Nice to Have:

• PostgreSQL and/or MySQL experience
• Punjab experience
• Apache/Tomcat experience

The annual salary range for this position is $117,200.00-$175,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
