Remote Virtualization & Automation Engineer

Remote Virtualization & Automation Engineer- 6 month W2 contract with opportunity to extend and/or convert to long term.

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Virtualization and Automation Engineer to add to their team to assist in the migration of an existing on-premise VMware environment to Nutanix on AWS.

Highlights:

Title: Virtualization & Automation Engineer

Job Location: Remote

Duration: 6 month W2 contract with opportunity to extend and/or convert to long term

Pay: Dependent on experience, though in the realms of $70.00 to $85.00 an hour for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in the following scripting languages and formats: Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, JSON, YAML

Must have experience in Nutanix NCC (formerly CALM)

Must have experience in Nutanix AHV (which is Nutanix's OS)

Must have experience using ServiceNow for automation and provisioning.

Knowledge of the following toolsets, preferably:

VMware Orchestrator

VMware vRealize Automation

Nutanix Prism Central

Must be able to work a W2 contract.

Must be comfortable with a drug screening and background check upon formal offer
