This role can sit remote across the US, but this team works primarily out of the Eastern time zone.
Rave is seeking an ambitious Renewal Specialist to join our Finance team. Rave Renewal Specialists ensure our customers renew their service with Rave on time and have a positive experience during the renewal process. This role involves proactive, outbound communication, tracking and reporting. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, enthusiastic person who enjoys working with people and problem solving for this highly transactional position.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and send renewal quotes to customers using DocuSign and Salesforce
- Proactively follow-up on all renewal outreach
- Provide a positive customer experience throughout the renewal process
- Ensure customer account information and documentation is accurate and up to date
- Invoice customer renewal contracts in accordance with customer contract
- Prepare and present weekly renewal progress, including metrics such as renewal rates, past due accounts & churn/loss.
- Partner with Customer Success Team on strategic account renewals & past due renewals
- Contract usage billing renewal process
- Assist Collections Team to resolve any billing questions related to renewals
- Assist in monthly close process
- Assist in annual audit, and other projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal controls in accordance with Company policy
- Look for areas of process improvement to ensure efficiencies
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in a customer facing role (e.g. renewals, customer success, business development or account management)
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Excel including but not limited to: VLookup, IF, SUMIF, Index, Match, Pivot Table. Comfort in manipulating large data sets.
- Experience with SaaS business preferred or with a software company
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
- Experience with DocuSign a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and/or accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and problem resolution skills
- Highly organized and resourceful. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Exceptional work ethic, team mentality, positive attitude, highly driven, self-motivated
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to consistently work within fixed timeframes
- Proficiency with Google Suite & Microsoft Office applications.
