Amalgamated Research LLC (ARi) is seeking a Research Chemical Engineer to join its R&D facility in Twin Falls Idaho. This role focuses on process research and development with hands-on work in production-scale chromatography and ion-exchange technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop separation process technologies using adsorption ion exchange and industrial chromatography unit operations for clients across multiple industries
Design and execute experimental pilot studies to generate engineering data and validate numerical model predictions
Apply optimization and troubleshooting techniques to identify the best technical solutions
Interpret bench-scale data and translate findings to industrial-scale applications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and interface with potential customers on new applications of ARi technology

Qualifications

B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field
Strong background in experimental design and troubleshooting
Experience interpreting experimental data and applying insights to industrial-scale solutions
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information through reports and presentations
Basic understanding of chromatographic adsorption and ion-exchange processes preferred
Comfortable working in cross-functional collaborative teams
Spanish fluency is a plus
