Amalgamated Research LLC (ARi) is seeking a Research Chemical Engineer to join its R&D facility in Twin Falls Idaho. This role focuses on process research and development with hands-on work in production-scale chromatography and ion-exchange technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop separation process technologies using adsorption ion exchange and industrial chromatography unit operations for clients across multiple industries
- Design and execute experimental pilot studies to generate engineering data and validate numerical model predictions
- Apply optimization and troubleshooting techniques to identify the best technical solutions
- Interpret bench-scale data and translate findings to industrial-scale applications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and interface with potential customers on new applications of ARi technology
Qualifications
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field
- Strong background in experimental design and troubleshooting
- Experience interpreting experimental data and applying insights to industrial-scale solutions
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information through reports and presentations
- Basic understanding of chromatographic adsorption and ion-exchange processes preferred
- Comfortable working in cross-functional collaborative teams
- Spanish fluency is a plus
