About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Research Manager to join our Media, Measurement & Analytics team at Whalar. In this role, you will be responsible for leading research efforts to uncover actionable insights in order to inform our influencer marketing campaigns and strategy.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
Lead research projects using a variety of sources such as consumer surveys, social listening platforms, industry reports, and social video measurement tools
Analyse data and provide insights on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and market opportunities
Use research findings to inform influencer marketing campaigns and strategy
Create reports and presentations to share research results with cross-functional teams
Develop a framework for both long and short term research/insights initiatives (forward facing and strategic scaled projects and reactive client supporting requests)
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in influencer marketing and market research
Support with post campaign measurement
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as market research, economics, or business
5+ years of experience in a research or data analysis role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel
Experience with market research methods and tools
Experience working in marketing/advertising
Familiarity with social media platforms and influencer marketing a plus
Experience navigating social listening tools, GWI, and/or Tubular a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing and developing a team of research analysts a plus
