Resource Coordinator - Recruitment & Retention

Minnetonka, MN (sometimes driving to our Plymouth site)

As Resource Coordinator, you will have an exciting role as part of our Recruitment & Retention team within the Manufacturing Operations team in our Electrophysiology division. You will be involved in a variety of work from event planning to explaining processes to workers to tracking people and processes on Excel spreadsheets. There is a lot of activity in the role and you will occasionally be driving between our Minnetonka site and our Plymouth site to work with employees and prospective employees.

This role will provide HR support for Direct Labor workers, including Project Coordination, Hands-on assistance and front facing to External Business Partners in support of the Business for key objectives, milestones and timelines, enabling us to "Meet our workers where they are"

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs general administrative duties as assigned completing expense reports, telephone support, filing, and special projects.
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes complex data for management review using MS applications.
  • Includes preparation of presentation materials and agendas for meetings.
  • Composes written correspondence to both internal and external Business partners
  • Interacts with other departments to gain solid understanding of needs around Direct Labor Support.
  • Take ownership and coordinate various projects as needed
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management in support of Direct Labor initiatives and goals while meeting the needs and demands for our high-volume Labor workforce
  • Will work to understand Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments; with strong appreciation for compliance, data privacy, problem solving and passion for helping others
  • Works directly to support Direct Labor/Manufacturing workers from all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned


Experience and Education Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 3+ years of work experience, ideally administrative or coordination experience (or other experience that demonstrates ability to multitask and track a variety of activities)
  • Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work cooperatively and productively with all levels of employees
  • This role is required to be on site and Support locations in both Minnetonka and Plymouth. So reliable transportation between the two sites is critical


Preferred Qualifications
  • Event Planning experience
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
  • Possesses excellent judgment and initiative to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to work outside of standard business hours on occasion in support of department as needed (some job fairs are in the early evening).
  • Computer proficient with advanced capabilities to utilize MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Excel.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Occasional overtime is part of this role
