Revenue Accounting Manager
We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to work on all aspects of the revenue accounting process at Lob and ensure accurate and complete financial information related to revenue. You will collaborate with various business partners in Sales, FP&A and Billing, among others. This is a great role for someone excited and passionate about revenue accounting and contributing to the success of the team and company. Reporting to the Controller of the company, you’ll join a supportive team excited to help you succeed.
As the Revenue Accounting Manager, you’ll…
- Manage the revenue accounting close process, driving timely and accurate reporting of revenue on a monthly basis
- Develop deep understanding of the company’s product offerings, our customer contracts and our pricing structure
- Implement ASC606 at Lob and get us to be audit ready
- Identify, facilitate and drive improvements of processes to increase internal efficiencies
- Lead automation efforts within the team and business partners to drive efficiency initiatives within the quote to cash business cycle
- Recruit a small team and make career development a key driver of your interactions with them
What will you bring to this role…
- 6+ years with relevant accounting experience, 2+ years of working at a technology company with a SaaS business model
- Curiosity, determination, grit, and internal motivation to solve ambiguous and complex problems.
- Bachelor’s Degree, with Accounting focus. A CPA or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with working on a leading ERP such as NetSuite, Sage Intaact or equivalent
- Proficiency working with Google Suite, Slack & Salesforce
- Able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally to multiple levels within the organization as well as to external auditors
- Revenue Accounting experience with a working knowledge of ASC606
- A proven track record of cross-functional management of multiple projects concurrently with strong business acumen with the ability to drive projects to closure
Compensation information
(Tier 1) = San Francisco Bay Area
Base Range: $162,500.00 - $180,000.00
(Tier 2) = LA/Orange County/Seattle/NYC Metro Area
Base Range: $154,375.00 - $171,000.00
(Tier 3) = San Diego
Base Range: $146,250.00 - $162,000.00
(Tier 4) = Colorado
Base Range: $138,125.00 - $153,000.00
(Tier 5) = Other geographic areas 120+ miles from one of the above mentioned geo’s
$130,000.00 - $144,000.00
