Job Description

Have you noticed that when you go to the doctor, often no one there can tell you what it will cost? If you think that’s as problematic as we do, join us in our mission to fix it.

We are currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Consultant to join our team remotely!

Position Overview:

This role reports to the Head of Demand Generation and interfaces closely with the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams, and other senior leadership.

As our Revenue Cycle Consultant, you will serve as the connector between four interrelated elements: 1) MD Clarity's social-impact mission of making healthcare prices more transparent; 2) our Product team that translates that mission into software; 3) the Sales and Marketing teams that are getting our product into the hands of more healthcare organizations where it can make an impact; and 4) our customers, who use our software to improve the patient experience and optimize their revenue cycle.

In this role, you will amplify the voice of MD Clarity. This includes communicating our value proposition through case studies, researching and synthesizing Revenue Cycle Management trends, managing podcasts and webinars, and building other forms of content. Ultimately, this role distills primary research and the knowledge of our team into content that is informative to our current and future customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute B2B content marketing strategy for our products, leveraging research and our internal subject-matter experts
  • Provide cross-functional support to develop sales enablement materials; create written, graphic and video content for our ideal customer profile such as: newsletters, case studies, webinars, podcasts, presentations, e-books, etc.
  • Contribute to our internal healthcare-policy understanding, informing staff training and product roadmap
  • Working with our Director of Demand Generation, analyze the effectiveness of our content, identify gaps and opportunities, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging marketing trends, and new content marketing strategies

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of revenue cycle management within the healthcare sector, and particularly the financial structures that shape how healthcare providers are paid by patients and insurers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (we'll ask you for writing samples as part of the selection process)
  • Ability to synthesize research into digestible output
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities
  • Desire to work within a team environment
  • Natural drive to take on challenges, and use coaching and feedback to improve skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or higher
  • Direct work experience in the healthcare field, specifically working with a healthcare provider’s finance/operations/revenue cycle organization a bonus

Role Progression:

You’ll have the opportunity to grow as MD Clarity scales, with multiple career-pathing options. There will be opportunities to take on broader responsibilities in External Communications, Brand Marketing, Customer Success, and/or Product Management depending on your career goals and what you enjoy.

Why MD Clarity:

Our team is experiencing high growth and is at the forefront of innovation while loving a little bit of ambiguity along the way!

We are remote-first, with hybrid options at our offices in Seattle and NYC if you like to be in-person.

Competitive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, & Vision premiums 100% covered for you and any dependents; 401(k) with employer matching; monthly wellness credit; employer HSA contributions; annual all-company on-sites in cool places (last year it was Park City!); and more!

More about MD Clarity:

MD Clarity is a social-impact-driven software company animated by two guiding principles: 1) that patients have a right to know what the financial impact will be on them when getting care; and 2) that doctors, nurses, and physician assistants deserve to be paid fairly by health insurers.

Our workflow automation software makes the healthcare experience easier and more transparent for patients and providers, and our products are already used by healthcare organizations that together serve hundreds of thousands of patient visits annually. We’re profitable and recently raised a new round of growth capital to accelerate adoption and scale our impact on the healthcare system.

Our fast-growing team combines decades of healthcare technology experience with engineering and business talent from Microsoft, Stanford, Phreesia, Spotify, Modernizing Medicine, GitHub, NYU Stern, EY-Parthenon, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Harvard, Deloitte, Vanderbilt, UPenn-Wharton, Cornell, and Northwestern, among others. We’re distributed among our offices in Seattle and New York City and many fully remote roles. In addition to our shared passion for improving patients’ healthcare experience, we’re united in valuing an inclusive workplace that empowers all with the autonomy, connection to the mission, and flexibility needed to innovate.
