- Perform month end close activities including review of journal entries, accounts reconciliations, and flux analysis
- Review revenue contracts for application of appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and the Company’s revenue policies
- Assist in the design and documentation of key controls and processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Sales Operations and Professional Services relative to providing guidance on revenue recognition policies or process issues around revenue recognition
- Work cross-functionally with Order Management, Billing, and IT on system enhancements and process changes to shorten the accounting close cycle while still maintaining a high degree of accounting accuracy
- Lead special projects or initiatives as needed including performing UAT
- Provide training to internal and external stakeholders as needed
- 5-7 years of revenue accounting and related experience under US GAAP, preferably in the Technology industry
- Detailed knowledge of ASC 606 and related revenue pronouncements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification is strongly preferred
- Advanced skills in Excel; experience with SFDC, Netsuite (ARM) preferred
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment; effective multitasking skills are vital
