As Vectra's Renewal’s Operations Manager you will be responsible for owning and driving key Renewals processes, ensuring data quality, partnering with Finance on month-end reporting, and providing deal structure and opportunity guidance, while ensuring the team is in compliance with revenue and company policies. You will engage with executives, VPs and Sales leaders, finance partners, customer success and other sales operations functions in managing the day-to-day Renewal operations. The role combines strategic and hands-on elements, and requires a deep and intimate understanding of SaaS business model and the renewal process management. This role will serve as the subject-matter-expert (SME) for renewals and compliance.
This is a core sales operations role that supports renewals and is not a quota carrying role.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the Operational Lead and go to person for all things Renewals.
- Manage the day-to-day renewal operations.
- Work with and advise the sales teams with quoting and deal structure and support renewal opportunities management in SFDC.
- Serve as trusted advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring that renewal strategy and data is aligned.
- Provide operational guidance and support in Renewals forecasting and business reviews.
- Responsible for processing and booking renewal purchase orders.
- Ensure renewal processes are executed accurately, consistently, and timely.
- Develop key performance metrics and dashboards to help the Sales organization focus on renewals execution, customer success, and account planning for the renewal.
- Leverage data and insights to define and support Renewals process modifications and improvements and enable optimal business outcomes, manage project scope and ongoing operations.
- Drive business alignment with finance, field sales and customer success on KPIs including renewal rates, gross retention and churn.
- Partner with Finance and Customer Success on churn calculations. Build and maintain a churn tracker.
- Partner with Finance and participate in month-end close reconciliation and reporting.
- Solicit executive involvement as required, and monitor and support ‘at risk’ renewals.
- Serve as an escalation point for issues and concerns.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements, focusing on scale and efficiency.
- Drive implementation as the subject-matter-expert (SME) for renewals and compliance.
- Participate in cross functional initiatives and collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success and Finance as the renewals SME.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in Revenue/Sales Operations, Sales Strategy or similar
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- A strong Sales Operations background with a specific focus on Renewals
- Experience supporting Sales, Customer Success and partnering with Finance
- Enterprise software/SaaS or high-tech industry experience is preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and CPQ
