Overview 

The Revenue Operations Specialist is an internal-facing operational role that will be responsible for managing and optimizing the revenue operations process.  This position will work closely with internal teams, like Customer Experience, to drive growth by analyzing metrics, trends, performance, improving efficiency, providing tools and dashboards, and defining and launching processes to support revenue operations.

Initially, this role will be primary responsible for administering and project managing licensing reconciliations and churn process.  We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working cross-functionally, digging into processes, and using data and tools to create a better experience for internal users around licensing and churn.  

What you’ll do 

  • Reconcile licenses usage for resold software (Datto, Microsoft, Malwarebyters, Perimeter81) in Electric billing portals (Salesforce, Netsuite)
  • Perform end-of-month reconciliation to ensure that customer invoices are accurate with actual usage 
  • Perform basic systems administration in partner portals where necessary
  • Maintain monthly reports of overall license usage for resold products 
  • Provide monthly reports to RevOps, Partnerships, CS and Services teams 
  • Facilitate transfer of licenses for customers during new customer onboarding 
  • Ensure that resold software product SKUs align with SKUs in Electric billing systems of record 
  • Project manage the overall churn SOP and all tasks associated with churn to ensure completion 
  • Transition or shut down resold products as part of the churn process
  • Act as a liaison between various Electric departments responsible for technical tasks as part of churning customers 
  • Provide recommendations to optimize the overall churn process 
  • Implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures

Who you are

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of business work experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Jira/JSM
  • Nice to have: NetSuite
  • Exceptional ability to multitask
  • Exceptional ability to adapt and learn new platforms and skills on the fly
  • Exceptional sense of urgency
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Previous customer support, sales, or technology experience a plus
