We are seeking a RFx/Proposal Technical Writer to join our team!
The RFx/Proposal Technical Writer is part of the Imprivata Sales Engineering organization, reporting to the Senior Manager, RFx/Proposal Team. This position is responsible for tracking, coordinating production, and ensuring the quality completion of RFx responses.
RFx items this team and this position regularly handle include the following:

• responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for (RFIs) and
• information security questionnaires/risk assessments.

As organizations grow increasingly concerned about cybersecurity and want to ensure their partners are adhering to security best practices and regulations, Imprivata has experienced a significant increase in its customer base and prospects requesting the completion of comprehensive security questionnaires. This has resulted in a need to expand our RFx/Proposal team to handle the growing volume of requests to complete security/risk questionnaires. As such, this position will require a significant focus on security as well as working with subject matter experts with the relevant service/product/business knowledge. The interested candidate should either possess a background in or a strong interest and aptitude in IT security.
Job responsibilities include working with the Senior Manager, RFx/Proposal Team to (1) implement all necessary RFx procedures and processes; (2) project manage RFx responses; (3) participate in technical writing on RFx items; and (4) help to maintain the RFx information asset database. This is a highly networked role that requires coordination of simultaneous projects that have specific deadlines. Diligence in finding the necessary correct information is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Project manage and complete responses to RFx and information security/risk questionnaires, including tracking incoming requests, identifying and assigning content response owners, tracking progress and managing deadlines, reviewing final documents with the Senior Manager, RFx/Proposal Team, and delivering final responses on time.
• Help update RFx/proposal content management tools and associated collateral. This process involves collecting key questions and answers from submitted RFx responses, prepping asset documentation for upload, and working alongside product teams to refresh product information upon each release.
• Assist and contribute, as needed, and as assigned, by sales management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand information security concepts and details
• Proven ability to communicate complex, technical information concisely and clearly
• Strong organization, project management, and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint and Salesforce
• Experience with proposal automation and content management tools (e.g., Loopio) preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions across the organization at multiple levels
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with information security and compliance concepts (e.g., HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HITRUST) is highly desirable

Physical Requirements

• This role is regularly required to walk, climb stairs, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
