For DSR's Risk and Resilience team to meet their mission to enable Microsoft to anticipate, manage, and respond to risks to build the most resilient, secure, and trusted devices and services, it's critical to empower our stakeholders with data to identify opportunities to decrease risk, improve resilience and enhance decision making across Microsoft's global footprint. This new role on the Risk Analytics team is critical to ensuring the Risk and Resilience team have the right insights to drive their Engineering & Corporate Function stakeholders across the company to reduce digital security and resilience risk. In this position, the Risk Analytics Technical Program Manager will have the opportunity to manage the complete end-to-end data lifecycle for risk analytics. Day to day you will work closely with our business stakeholders in learning their business and understanding their data and analytics challenges. Additionally, you will work with our current Analytics team to help manage our Azure Resources and work with other engineering teams to source and ingest data, model, and prepare data for analysis and usage. Finally, you'll work with Risk and Resilience teams to deliver insights on risks to help drive security and resilience stakeholders across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for leveraging data as a strategic asset and can map analyses to areas of risk for action. The successful candidate has a record of accomplishment in developing data analyses that address risks or performance, collaborating and influencing across teams to develop key performance indicators, coordinating multiple timelines, and managing complex, cross discipline projects. You are agile and able to adapt to support an ever-changing company, evolving technology stack, and shifting risk environment. You are someone who leads by example and fosters an open work environment where cross-collaboration, inclusiveness, and diversity of perspective are valued. Qualifications:
Re quired/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 4+ years experience designing and implementing data analytics platforms, including highly automated, cloud-based solutions in diverse technical environments utilizing Azure data analytics engineering, SQL, and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
- 3+ years experience with Power BI modeling, and Kusto.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- 4+ years experience analyzing problems and making appropriate decisions quickly.
- 3+ years experience managing large scale, complex data initiatives and influencing stakeholders to achieve desired results.
- 3+ years security experience working in a large multinational organization.
- 3+ years experience collaborating effectively with PMs, non-technical team members, and other technical SMEs as well as across teams to define and implement sustainable solutions.
- 3+ years experience demonstrating written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
- 3+ years experience leading cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ years risk and compliance experience working in a large multinational organization.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and manage the Azure infrastructure (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Azure Log Analytics, Data Flows, Fabric)
- Build, own, and maintain the telemetry of the system for internal reporting.
- Create and execute automated and semi-automated data quality and validation procedures to guarantee data accuracy and completion.
- Create and maintain Power BI models and datasets for domain focused business teams.
- Draw conclusions and translate insights from data into action.
- Problem solve with Risk and Resilience customers (e.g., supplier security & resilience, enterprise resilience, security risk and compliance) and do deep dive data analyses on their data flows, requirements and ideate data solutions.
- Influence customers to attain their business and automation needs with data.
