About the position:  

This role will be an integral part of the Ethics, Risk, & Compliance team and will work closely with our Legal, Finance, People, and Global Operations teams. This role will support the Company’s efforts to adhere to legal standards and policies, understanding the employment law landscape, and staying ahead of changing regulations.  

The role will be based in the Philippines with an emphasis on researching APAC employment regulations and assisting with meeting the compliance requirements.  The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with continuous change due to our constantly changing external and internal environment, working at the pace of the business, and delivering on multiple simultaneous priorities. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across different departments and time zones. 


What you'll do: 

  • Support the Risk & Compliance Manager with employment law research. 
  • Develop a proactive approach to stay ahead of employment law trends. 
  • Receive, research, and respond to requests from other members of the Legal team, such as Employment Counsel, Corporate Compliance, Fraud Prevention, and Health and Safety 
  • Synthesize information and deliver concise and comprehensive reports on requested topics that can be shared with internal and external stakeholders and collaborators. 
  • Update internal documentation and communicate to members of Legal regarding documentation revisions. 
  • Regularly edit and revise documents, such as policies, communication alerts, and research reports for distribution 
  • Administrative tasks, such as periodic regulatory filings or updates to our knowledge center 
  • Ad hoc assignments, as needed. 

What we're looking for

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in legal, library science, or liberal arts. 
  • Paralegal experience is a plus. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a research role preferred. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.  
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Intellectually curious with an ability to dig for answers. 
  • Track record of successfully juggling multiple functions, projects, and priorities 
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and shift direction when priorities change. 
  • Comfortable in a global, fast paced, high growth, rapidly evolving workplace. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
