RWJBarnabas Health is Expanding and Seeking Pediatric General Surgeons Throughout New Jersey!

RWJBarnabas Health, in partnership with Rutgers Health, is proud to announce dynamic growth within its pediatric surgery program. We are seeking talented Pediatric Surgeons to join our team across New Jersey.

Our rapidly expanding pediatric surgery team currently includes seven board-certified pediatric surgeons working at 4 sites for the largest pediatric healthcare provider in New Jersey.  These positions will be assigned to no more than 2 facilities; at the discretion of the Division Chief.  With four acute care children’s hospitals, a level II trauma program, ECMO program and the renowned Children’s Specialized Hospital for pediatric rehabilitation, RWJBarnabas Health draws complex cases from a wide-reaching patient base. Our system is a leader in newborn care in the state with over 25,000 deliveries annually. Candidate interested in sub-specialization areas such as, minimally invasive, oncology, anorectal malformations, CDH, minimally invasive surgery, as well as other areas are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Board certified, fellowship-trained pediatric surgeon (including experience in minimally invasive surgery)
• NJ license or eligible for licensure
• Commitment to academic excellence, including interest or prior experience in resident and medical student education and clinical research
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong clinical background
