Job Description
Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Remote Sales Assistant. Responsible for supporting all aspects of Business Development for Sales including leads, projects and follow ups. Foster collaboration between the Business Development team and sales force.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Management
-
Support sales force in assigning & qualifying leads from multiple sources

Follow lead cadence as outlined
-
Set appointments with sales team and customers
-
Establish and nurture relationships with potential customers throughout the sales process
-
Collaborate with sales team to identify and covert target accounts
-
Accurately tracking & documenting activities, interaction with leads, and the outcomes
-
Support Marketing campaigns/initiatives
-
Update backlog of leads
Pipeline Management
-
Assist sales force in managing projects in CRM
-
Generate & follow up on projects, probabilities, dates, win/loss
-
Create quotes & SPAs as applicable
-
Create tracking from lead to sales
-
Supports sales forecast by accurately updating projects in CRM
-
Collaborate with sales team, marketing, customer service & operations to improve business performance.

Update backlog of projects
-
Identify opportunities for improvement
-
Attend Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly performance meetings
CRM Support
-
Provide one-on-one assistance to the sales force as needed for any of the following
-
Navigating the site
-
Instructions on entering companies
-
Provides guidance on entering projects and product information
-
Set up national accounts and link related companies to these accounts
-
Assist with setting up personalized dashboards
-
Guidance for navigating the CRM community
-
Create personalized list views when necessary
-
Any other troubleshooting

Communicate requests for changes/additions per guidelines
Education & Experience
-
1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or supply chain.
-
Associate degree in related field or relevant experience preferred
-
Ability to speak and communicate well with associates within the company and with customers. Comfortable with making cold calls.

Establish and maintain close-working relationships with all partnering teams (i.e., segment VPs, sales, finance, and customer service, & marketing) and external customers
