OVERVIEWÂ
The Instacart Emerging Business team is in a hyper-growth stage and we are looking to hire world-class outbound sales associates who can help us build and scale the outbound engine for Instacart’s Emerging Business as a key driver of revenue. You will be responsible for onboarding SMBs onto Instacart’s marketplace and as our product offering expands, you will grow and upsell current partners. In addition to qualifying and signing new businesses, you will be responsible for sharing valuable feedback about the business experience with our Product Management teams in order to drive improved experiences and capabilities.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Support inbound Emerging Business demand through the entire on-boarding process from registration through campaign creation, launch and renewal.
- Maintain a high daily volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling in a transactional environment.
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle and active business.
- Grow and upsell current partners.
- Manage top Emerging Business customers to promote further growth and be a primary point of escalation for technical issues.
- Generate weekly campaign reports and monthly / quarterly reviews.
- Support the launches of new programs and features.
- Grow your skills and have a meaningful impact on an important component to Instacart’s success and growth.
- Support product teams to determine the right priorities for product improvements to help scale products for small and medium businesses.
ABOUT YOU
- You have 3+ years of work experience; Inbound or Outbound sales experience at a technology company is a big plus.
- You have consistently been a top performer in prior roles.
- You have experience working with a technical product or possess the aptitude to quickly learn this.
- You are a self starter with the hunger to be great.
- You thrive in ambiguity and are able to create processes from chaos.
- You have high attention to detail with strong execution skills.
- You have familiarity with tools of the trade (eg. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google Drive).
