Lob is looking for a talented Sales Development Manager to launch our inside sales team to the next level of success. This manager will build, coach, and grow our inside sales team to increase our engagements (outbound prospecting) with enterprise level prospects. You will be a frontline, player-coach manager focused on building a sales pipeline and achieving individual and team quotas. By leading a highly motivated team and implementing creative data-proven strategies this manager will enable us to reach Lob’s long term goals.
As the Sales Development Manager, you’ll…- Manage, develop, and hire for a team of talented outbound sales development representatives
- Run the team and make your decisions based on the most important metrics to increase the success of the team
- Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed sales development goals
- Track sales team metrics and report data to senior leadership on a weekly basis
- Work hand in hand with the marketing team to deploy the most effective prospecting strategies
- Align closely with sales leadership to ensure sales objectives are being met at every angle
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
- Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement
- 2+ years of experience as an SDR manager managing a team of 5+ SDRs
- Have worked at a high growth tech company with a target market of enterprise prospects
- Highly fluent in designing and implementing outbound sales development strategies, playbooks, cadences, and best practices
- Experience with scaling an SDR team and can think through career paths, compensation plans, segmenting the team, etc.
- Lead by example: Strong sales capabilities, leading by example, goal achiever
- Self starter: doesn’t need to be given the playbook to be successful, can build the playbook
- You use data and analytics to drive your decision making process, identify areas for improvement, and track progress
- Great at motivating, building trust, and inspiring SDRs to high performance
- Understands the goals of the organization and knows what to tackle in order to move forward
- Direct Mail experience
- Strong collaboration and problem solving skills

(Tier 5) = Other geographic areas 120+ miles from one of the above mentioned geo’s
Base: $95,000.00 - $117,000.00 + Variable: $118,750.00 - $146,250.00
