What’s so great about working on Calendly’s Sales team?

We help our customers keep meetings moving forward, so they can focus on engaging with their prospects and closing more deals.

Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative who will bring prior experience with prospecting, cold outreach, and C-suite/VP level engagement. You will report to the Manager of Sales Development and will be responsible for generating pipeline for Calendly's Account Executives.

A day in the life of a Sales Development Representative at Calendly

Your day will consist of prospecting current organizations that use Calendly to figure out the best fits for cold outreach. Along with prospecting, much of your day will be crafting customized cold outreach to the Director, VP, and C-Suite level. Working with the Marketing team to drive the high lead conversion will also be a daily task. Outside of outreach and pipeline generation, working with Calendly's account executives to keep up with trends, what prospects are saying, and learn more about the day in life of an AE are all part of the day-to-day.

On a typical day, you will be working on:

Understanding and learning what makes the ideal Calendly customer and thinking critically on who fits the mold.Strategic and critical thinking when prospecting to determine where organizational difficulties may align with Calendly's value propositions. Identify Calendly prospects by using tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Salesforce, etc.Build, maintain, and be responsible for your outbound pipeline to drive consistent meeting generation.Qualify prospects with detailed discovery to ensure they are a fit for Calendly.Work cross-functionally with Marketing to drive lead conversion and to build a strong internal partnership.

What do we need from you?

At least 1 year of SDR, BDR, or AE experience, preferably within the SaaS and tech environment.Cold calling, emailing, and prospecting experience.Proficient with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Google Sheets, Google Docs. Able to adapt in a very fast paced environment. Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
