Sales Development Representative

Position Overview:
This role reports to the Sales Operations Manager and interfaces closely with the Marketing team. You will work as a part of a team that will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads. This includes identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads and prospect lists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and appointment setting
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to customer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
- Develop new business via telephone and email to introduce MD Clarity services to prospects
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
- Set up meetings between prospective customers and sales executives
- Identify prospects’ pain points and suggest appropriate MD Clarity solution
- Consistently meet and exceed Sales Qualified Lead created and Revenue Generated metrics
- Identify best practices to refine MD Clarity’s lead generation playbook
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent phone and email communication skills
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Hubspot or other CRM software preferred
- Ability to set and manage multiple priorities
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Natural drive to take on challenges, and utilize coaching and feedback to improve skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, or combination of education and experience in directly related field
- Experience in the healthcare field, specifically working with healthcare clinical or financial data
- 1-2 years of sales experience
Role Progression:
There are generally a few paths of progression from this role–Account Executive, Customer Success, or Marketing–depending on what you like and have a knack for as you learn and grow. Many in MD Clarity have also carved out unique roles for themselves that evolved organically from new challenges that needed to be solved.
