We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR), SEA & ANZ to generate and qualify sales opportunities in Southeast Asia (SEA) and Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). EnterpriseDB (EDB), a global leader in enterprise PostgreSQL solutions, empowers businesses with high-performance, scalable open-source database solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding EDB’s presence in SEA while supporting sales efforts in the ANZ region. This position reports directly to the SDR Director, APJ, and is based in Singapore, with occasional travel required.

As an SDR at EDB, you will conduct inbound and outbound prospecting to identify leads and opportunities. You will use a consultative approach to engage prospects, showcasing an entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to meet and exceed business targets. Proactively identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new opportunities will be critical. You will work closely with Account Executives to implement strategies that drive Postgres adoption across SEA and ANZ.

Qualifications

We are seeking Singaporean citizens or existing resident pass holders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the skills, passion, and drive to help EDB expand its PostgreSQL footprint.

  • A “hunter” mentality with tenacity and enthusiasm for outbound and inbound prospecting.
  • Strong proficiency in English and either Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, or Mandarin is required.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate clearly in English to support ANZ.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • A quick learner with a strong interest in technology, particularly open-source solutions.
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented, with a desire to be at the top of the leaderboard.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an SDR/BDR in Southeast Asia, particularly Singapore.
  • Experience in the database, SaaS, or Cloud industry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the public sector or enterprise space is a plus.
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, TechTarget, and ZoomInfo.
