Responsibilities for Sales Coach:
Acts as an expert role model and master coach
Identify gaps, best practices, and opportunities at the region, market, branch, sales role/person level, and recommends priorities, sequence, and action plans
Provide hands-on one-on-one coaching to leaders to close skill gaps and enhance the ability of leaders to influence behaviors and drive business results
Directs and motivates representatives who engage current customers, educate them on existing solutions and communicate the value of solutions in order to generate additional business
Improves metrics on sales and closing ratios and optimize sales cycle management
Execute against a data driven telesales plan to enhance the relationship and generate sale
Work closely with Marketing to develop and share strategies to, establish, lead programs
Keep Senior Management appraised through verbal and documented reports on sales volume, competitive activity, growth and expansion progress
Coach VP’s, Commercial on the right balance of activities among clients, prospects, and centers of influences
Qualifications for Sales Coach:
Excellent collaboration and team building skills
Knowledge of and experience with coaching models/best practices to establish and maintain credible coaching relationships
Ability to guide, engage, and impart knowledge to others
Skill in helping individuals Identify Goals, Develop Realistic Action Plans, Seek Development Opportunities, and Monitor Progress and Accountability
Strong understanding of adult learning principles to include basic instructional design best practices and facilitation techniques
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Bachelor's degree required Business and/or Marketing or equivalent work experience
Seven (7) years or more with successful sales and coaching experience within a multi-channel business service environment required
Leverage strong leadership skills to understand current business issues and opportunities to develop strategic insights and recommendations for regional and district leadership teams on how to enhance sales and client performance
