Sales Intern - Summer 2023

Podium welcomes the most up-and-coming talent in the world every summer for a 12–week internship program. During your time here, you will receive the superb quality experience Podium prides itself on with mentorships, a leadership educational series, and regular activities both inside and outside of the office. Our interns walk away from their experience as visionaries in the workforce, and a portion of our interns join Podium full-time by the end of their program. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and Employee Community Groups, attend professional development workshops, develop and expand a strong, diverse network, give back to the community, organize and participate in social events and more!

What you will be doing:

• You will support a sales team and be given the opportunity to make a direct impact on driving revenue growth
• Collaborate with the Sales team and participating in training to learn core sales skills and lingo 
• Prospect new clients to build out your pipeline and set discovery meetings with future clients
• Learn how to develop and handoff leads through sales processes, identifying and understanding sales trends, and conducting market research
• Master the ability to evangelize the Podium story 
• Align Podium solutions with prospect business objectives & needs 
• Collaborate with sales reps to schedule prospect calls, meetings and demos 
• Shadow sales professionals when they meet with clients and prospects
• 12 Week Program (End of May - Middle of August)

What you should have:

• Current junior or senior with an expected graduation date between August 2023 and August 2024
• Be a self-starter and have demonstrated leadership experience
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Passionate about relationship building and sales
• Eager to learn and be mentored by employees excited to help you navigate your career
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to intern full-time in the Lehi, UT office

What we hope you have:

• Sales experience (or other qualified sales experience) 
• Strong desire to start a career in sales upon graduation
• Enrolled or participate in a sales program through your university
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus
• Be involved in leadership roles on campus
