This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Manager in the United States.
The Sales Manager for the Americas will lead sales strategy and execution across new and existing accounts, driving revenue growth and market presence in a high-technology environment. This role combines strategic planning, business development, and team leadership, with direct responsibility for managing key accounts and channel partners. The position requires strong collaboration with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to align customer needs with product innovation. Success in this role involves creating long-term sales plans, building and mentoring high-performing sales teams, and delivering measurable results across the region. Frequent travel throughout the Americas is expected, offering hands-on engagement with clients and opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and customer satisfaction. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and requires a confident, results-oriented professional with strong relationship-building skills.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the Americas region to maximize revenue, profitability, and market growth.
  • Manage and nurture key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion opportunities.
  • Demonstrate product benefits across multiple applications and end-users, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to influence product development based on market trends and customer insights.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting for budget planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and develop direct sales teams and channel partners to achieve regional objectives.
  • Partner with marketing teams to plan and manage initiatives that build brand recognition and demand in the Americas.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MS/MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced high-tech sales environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in high-technology products.
  • Strong business development skills, including securing new business from large accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in leading, hiring, and mentoring successful sales teams.
  • Technical knowledge of digital imaging or optical systems is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic sales plans and initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the Americas region.
