Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Sales Operations Analyst to join our growing team. Call us slightly biased, but we think this is perhaps one of the best and coolest jobs for anyone who is less than 5 years into their career, or someone who is interested in making a career switch into Tech.  In this role you will get to learn the sales operations function and be a “swiss army knife” who participates in a wide variety of functions necessary to build and optimize a rapidly growing sales organization. 

In this role you will learn and support our TAM modeling and territory building process, our sales capacity modeling, our growth planning initiatives, our weekly forecasting, and pipeline review processes, as well as our quarterly and annual business review and strategic planning processes.  You’ll work with and analyze data needed for both day-to-day sales execution as well as long-term strategic planning.  Finally, you’ll get to work with fantastic sales leaders and sales professionals who will teach you a lot about selling and how to build a high-functioning sales org.  

This is a full-time, regular position based in the US. This is currently a remote position but Workato has offices throughout the US so there is the potential of working within an office if that is desired.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Both ongoing and one-off analyses that help to shine light on how Workato is executing and where we can improve or scale

  • Assisting Workato sales leaders and sales professionals with their operational needs.  The role will likely have tight alignment with 1 or 2 specific sales segments (e.g. Enterprise, Commercial, etc.)

  • Learning how SaaS businesses work and what the key KPIs and drivers are for sales productivity

  • Proactively recommend improvements to existing processes, and automation to increase the effectiveness of Sales, Operations, & cross-functional teams

  • Audit Salesforce data and ensure operational excellence in our CRM.

  • Assist with sales forecasting and planning processes 

  • Ensure territory management excellence for constantly growing and shifting sales organization, including territory curving, assignment, and process improvements in our CRM.

  • Support ad-hoc projects from leadership.

  • Assist with producing quarterly presentations to the executive team and board.

RequirementsQualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Business Operations in high-growth SaaS or technology companies

  • Strong quantitative capabilities with a passion for numbers and analytics

  • Experience working with BI/Analytics tools

  • High proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint (and Google Sheets & Slides). Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, ZoomInfo, and/or BI tools is strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of analyzing large data sets 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent business judgment. Strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing, and coordinating analyses; communicating findings in a clear and concise way; and finding creative and innovative solutions.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, business, or related discipline 

  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking is a strong plus
