The Yahoo Media Exchange Operations group is looking for an Operations Lead to join our Exchange Quality team to detect and investigate online fraud abuse across a variety of Advertising platforms and technical environments. We protect our users, advertisers, publishers and digital revenue streams through data!
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to investigate web traffic patterns, publisher implementations, mobile applications, and other ad technology for any activity that may violate our platform policies. This person will work with a variety of operational, product and business groups on online fraud and policy compliance across the ad-tech industry.
Responsibilities may include:
- Support Exchange Quality manual and operational processes, including enforcement and daily monitoring of quality metrics.
- Support Yahoo internal clients, with a focus on fraud, invalid traffic, and supply quality issues and improvements
- Respond to and investigate traffic quality threats (e.g. botnets, non-human traffic, fraudulent data) via JIRA ticketing on Yahoo Media advertising platforms, specifically Yahoo Exchanges.
- Interface with 3rd party fraud and verification vendors, as well as internal Trust & Verification Product team.
- Investigate Malvertising (Malware/Adware) threats in 3rd party sites and applications
- Identify methods to detect, investigate, qualify threats via data
- Interface with Yahoo Trust and Verification (T&V) team w/r/t product requirements, and analysis of data from internal quality tools, such as Talon and Creative tester
- Work with cross functional teams to develop formulas to score/rate risk/threats
- Identify opportunities to create and/or improve operational processes, with an eye toward automation
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- 2+ years in ad tech or related experience
- Demonstrated analytical skills and work experience, reviewing data sets and identifying patterns
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in the creation and deployment of guidelines and policies, in conjunction with legal and internal business stakeholders.

If hired for this position in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $77,250.00 - $128,750.00. The compensation may vary depending on your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include additional incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, plus equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, retirement, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
