About this role
The Sales Professional knows and shares our DXC story, they drive profitable sales growth aligned to DXC strategy and offerings. Collaborate with Regional and Account Leaders to drive profitable sales at our accounts. They lead consultative sales campaigns from origination to close driving profitable growth. Working with our Accounts, they lead our most complex sales pursuits to ensure growth targets are met. They are client relationship experts with a broad network within and outside of DXC to identify the opportunities and grow new relationships.
What you will do
The Sales Professional is responsible for prospecting and nurturing new leads through sales funnel, sourcing opportunities while managing a disciplined calendar of activities to build a client pipeline.
The successful Sales Professional has strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills and can present and position transformative technology and DXC services to clients that enable the desired client outcomes (i.e. the IT and Business transformation objectives). They can work independently and are adept at creating, contributing to and leading high performance teams. They are skilled at engaging the C-suite and building trusted advisory relationships. They will also demonstrate a thorough understanding of DXC's value proposition and can quantify this benefit for clients.
Who you are
- Build a book of business through constant proactive prospecting; which result in meeting/exceeding annual quota targets through sales to new and existing customers alike.
- Leads opportunity progression from origination to closure.
- Leverage research skills, intra-company contacts, market data to qualify prospects and develop a calibrated target client list.
- Ensures that technical, contractual, administrative and financial policies, procedures and goals are met to ensure adherence to client and company requirements.
- Coordinates with other sellers and account leaders to leverage resources and solutions to solve client problems and create client value while meeting and achieving sales targets.
- Utilize strong lead generation capabilities to successfully penetrate client at all levels of organization through and including C-suite.
- Ability to identify different buyer motivations across various client bases and levels in order to expand potential revenue drivers.
- Incorporate customer perspective, drivers, product/service relevancy to deliver persuasive client presentations.
- Demonstrate customer advocacy by emphasizing those features/benefits of relevant DXC software, service offerings which meet specific customer' needs.
- Continually acquire deeper technology and industry knowledge.
